About the game

How to Play Pachisa

The goal is simple: build the best three-card hand at the table, and bet with enough confidence to win the pot — whether your hand is truly strong, or your nerve just holds up longer.

1

Get Your Cards

Each player is dealt three cards face-down from a standard 52-card deck. No jokers, no wild cards.

2

Ante Up

Before the deal, every player contributes a fixed boot amount to the pot to keep the game moving.

3

Blind or Seen

Play blind without looking at your cards to bet at half stakes, or go seen to check your hand and bet at full stakes.

4

Place Your Bets

Taking turns clockwise, call the current stake, raise it, or fold your hand and step out of the round.

5

Know the Rankings

Your three cards form a hand — the stronger your combination, the more confidently you can bet.

6

Show & Win

When only two players remain, request a Show to reveal hands. The best hand takes the entire pot.

Hand Rankings

From strongest to weakest

  3. 3

    Sequence

Three consecutive cards of mixed suits.

  4. 4

  6. 6
